White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival needs volunteers to help with the following:

art raffle - work with other volunteers in contacting exhibiting artists for donation of work,
coordinate the receipt of donated work, display and management of raffle booth
artist relations - help artists during show, booth sit for artists needing a short break, oversee emerging artists booth, help with artist refreshment tent
art scholarships - help with planning and facilitating the art scholarship awards reception
emerging artists - help to solicit emerging artists, review their work and aid in the set up and display of their work.
entertainment - help manage performers and oversee entertainment stage
exhibiting artists - help in the jurying of artists, mailings, and layout of park
festival logistics - work as part of the team in the set up and break down of the festival
festival committee booths - greet festival attendees, distribute programs and balloons, relay information about the festival, art scholarship fund and solicit donations.
graphic design - use your knowledge of publishing software to help the team to design the festival program, posters, etc.
marketing/advertising - help in the distribution of posters, postcard mailing & distribution and in the placement of ads in print, radio or on internet sites.
program ad sales - solicit local businesses for advertising in festival program
publicity - distribution of press releases, follow up calls to press
sponsorships - solicit local companies and firms for sponsorships
